The first day of summer is here! Up at the top of the Mitt, we are experiencing nice seasonal days. I have hopes to time my vacation, next month, to take advantage of all this area has to offer. Yes, I’m taking a vacation. We all need to recharge, and this crazy brain of mine has been steeped in the haunted world for quite some time now. So before they put me away, I will have to venture out.
Time for updates.
Book of Souls, book 24 of the Haunted Series, is in editing. We’re hoping for a July release, but it’s a long book and I am the queen of typos.
Book 25 of the Haunted Series, first draft, is three quarters of the way finished. I’d tell you the title, but it would spoil book 24 for you.
The book after should probably be a Cid Garrett P.I. novel. If I have the right story, Cid and company will be ready to roll. It’s too early to pin anything down.
There is a surge in new readers! Welcome! Pull up a chair or a hammock, and enjoy the addiction that is the Haunted Series. Remember to hydrate. Red shirts aren’t mandatory. We are a friendly bunch here at Ravens’ Rook and will probably make fun of just about everything. I have a skewed vision of how the paranormal world mixes with ours. The world in which I set the Haunted Series is filled with more than ghosts. It can be scary, lightly horrific, and sometimes sexy. I write my dialogue using real language. My main character is Mia. (Please don’t yell at me because areas of the books are about Mia.) I do my best to give you a different story or set of stories in each novel, but I do move the characters forward in each book. Skipping around the books are tough, but if you do so, consult the glossary in the back of the later books if you are confused. The PEEPs Lite novellas aren’t mandatory, but they do flesh out some of the characters, plus they’re fun. Below is the current order of the books in my three series.
