Happy New Year!

December 31, 2014 in Holiday, Q&A

Depending on when you are reading this, it is either still 2014 or 2015.  I’m sitting on the fence between one year and the next.  Straddling a fence can be most uncomfortable so bear with me.  Half of me is looking back over an amazing year for me and PEEPs, and the other half is looking forward to the next year.  I plan on continuing the “Haunted Series.”  I have quite a few stories to tell, and more keep entering my head daily.  The joy of having such a varied group of ghost hunters gives me a lot of room in which to let the imagination go.  Don’t worry; Murphy keeps me in line so I don’t go too far out there - him and my editor, aka “The Red Pen.”

Last year, I published two novellas and four “Haunted Series” novels.  The storylines gave PEEPs the opportunity to work with new friends and to tie up loose strings.  When I started the “Haunted Series,” my aim was to explore the world of ghost hunting from a sensitive’s point of view.  As I got to know my characters, it became apparent that each character had a story, and I would have the opportunity to write their story as they grew within the PEEPs family.

This year, the PEEPs had to return to the hollow to finish the job.  In doing so, they lost a vital member of their family.  Unable to deal with the loss, Angelo enlisted the help of his rival Murphy to obtain the means to go in search of his dear friend.  This gave me the opportunity to have two opposing characters see the vulnerabilities of the other and to trust the other to not act upon them.

Two new characters rode in on their white horses to give PEEPs a hand.  Lorna Grainger and Tonya Toh.  Lorna and Tonya are paranormal bounty hunters.  They work independent of the law but are guided by “The Council of Women,” of which Mia’s grandmother is a sitting member.

Mia has gone through the biggest physical change of all this past year.  Without putting any spoilers out there, I will say that I think she’s done an amazing job considering her shape.

This website is new this year.  So far, it hopefully, has kept you up-to-date on new publications and made it possible for you to obtain ebooks, books and audiobooks easily by directing you to Amazon with one click.  One of the great things about the website for me is that you’re leaving comments.  For those who had a problem with posting comments, please email me at alexieaaronbiz@gmail.com.  Please include what kind of device you were using at the time of the problem.  I’m hoping my web guy can correct this bug for you soon.

What to look forward to on the website in 2015?

January 8th   is Binge Reading Day!  I’ll be confessing my favorite binge reads.  I will also ask the crew at Bliss Cottage to give me their lists to share with you.  Also, please get your lists ready to share.  It’s going to be a cold winter, and we all could use good book recommendations.

January 15th , Stephen Murphy will be answering your questions on the site.  Please email your questions for Murphy by January 10th using alexieaaronbiz@gmail.com.

So what is in store for PEEPs this year?  A trip to New Orleans and the wedding of Bernard and Ralph are just a couple events I have in store for the Paranormal Entity Exposure Partners.  There’s more, but that would be telling…
