In my never-ending quest to stay in contact with my readers while enticing new readers to give my series(s) a try, I have decided to listen to suggestions made by the Webguy. He hasn’t led me astray yet. Well, there was that one time, I confused Instagram with instant potatoes, and he just laughed… Okay, back on target. I’ve decided I must check out Twitter.

Let's Read
“Tiny Houses,” the third book of the Cid Garrett P.I. series, is in my editor’s hands! I’m also knee-deep into the first draft of book #23 of the Haunted Series. We hope to get these books to you as soon as humanly possible.
While you’re waiting on me, you may want to check out these excellent authors. May of them have their first eBook of their series available for $0.99!

Well, how do you like it now? For you winter sports enthusiasts, this is your year! You can fly down the slopes, slide around corners, snow shoe into the woods, ride your fat tire bikes along the trails, and sled… Me, I’d love to do all those things, but I’ve just finished my first draft of Tiny Houses, and I’m in the process of looking it over a last time before giving it to the Red Pen, and I really don’t have the time.
However, I did turn my head from time to time to chronicle the snowfall from my office window. I would have taken more pictures outside, but evidently my iPhone battery isn’t built for the cold, joy. I hate to dump on Apple, but you guys have slid downhill faster than my car on South Airport Drive. Anyway, I thought I’d share a few pictures as I catch you up on all things PEEPs.
Read MoreInstagram and Me
In my continued pursuit of getting the news out about my books, Instagram (IG) was suggested to me by my poet friend, Brian Corrigan. He puts a new short verse up every day, sometimes more than one poem. He’s quite good. If you’re on IG check him out. Anyway, since he suggested it, I thought I’d give it a try.

Hello, I’m Stephen Murphy, resident ghost of the Haunted Series. I’ve been tasked by Alexie Aaron to interview some of the characters who appear with me in the series. Alexie wants an unbiased look into the inner workings of these novels. I felt that I could be the most transparent (pun intended) and offered my services.
If you haven’t read The Return yet, I suggest stopping here until you do so.

Time to update you on the progress on book #22, Risen. It’s in its second edit, and we hope to release it by mid-October. So, it will be the Halloween book this year. I never know when exactly these books will come out. I write them and then leave them in the capable hands of the Red Pen and then the Beta Reader. I do work with the Red Pen answering questions and acknowledging, and working on, any problems with the manuscript. Our aim is to give the readers the best reading experience we can. I want to put you in the book with the characters. When we finish, I’ll check the word count, but I suspect this is one of the largest books, if not the largest.

It’s the time of the year, traditionally, where we all start thinking about what’s new on television and why haven’t I, Alexie Aaron, put my series on yet. I would love to see the Haunted Series on TV or a movie or both. I have researched this and brought in experts in this area to counsel me on how to best go about it. The first thing I need is to get new readers, a lot of them. So, I waved my wand… No, I have hired a group to send press releases to just about everybody, which discusses the Haunted Series and its first book, The Hauntings of Cold Creek Hollow.

The thirteenth podcast didn’t go without a hitch or two. The Web guy thought I was asking about summer music when I asked about summer memories. What developed out of that was interesting. Aside from this blip. The podcast has answers to reader questions, teasers about Risen book 22 of the Haunted Series, and some great conversations. Come join us on Alexie Aaron’s 13th podcast. Have a great summer!
