Hello, everyone, and welcome back to another episode of The Alexie Aaron Podcast! It's a snow day for me, Aaron the Webguy, here in Michigan, and it just felt like a good day to stay inside and ramble on for a while. Battling sickness, Alexie comes to the mic to drop some insightful knowledge while I do my best to keep up. Hope you all enjoy and stay warm on this snowy day.

Hello, everyone and anyone, Aaron the WebGuy here to present to you some truly spooky links to binge during this Halloween season. And I do mean binge worthy, since if you decide to follow me down the rabbit hole, you will have hours of video to scare the heck out of you. This is what I would consider a "deep dive" into some truly disturbing fiction that blends in just enough reality that it makes it somehow all the more unsettling.
As you can see by the title and images, I will be talking about a certain urban myth that was born in the internet age. The Tall Man, aka the Slenderman, is something I am sure many of you have heard about, and it is a monster that has become a modern day boogeyman. His "tendrils" of influence spread far and wide, and Slenderman is operating in the shadowy woods all over the world.

The twenty-second book of the Haunted Series has been released on Amazon. This is my most favorite book of the series and I hope all of you are going to love it.

Hello, I’m Stephen Murphy, resident ghost of the Haunted Series. I’ve been tasked by Alexie Aaron to interview some of the characters who appear with me in the series. Alexie wants an unbiased look into the inner workings of these novels. I felt that I could be the most transparent (pun intended) and offered my services.
If you haven’t read The Return yet, I suggest stopping here until you do so.

Time to update you on the progress on book #22, Risen. It’s in its second edit, and we hope to release it by mid-October. So, it will be the Halloween book this year. I never know when exactly these books will come out. I write them and then leave them in the capable hands of the Red Pen and then the Beta Reader. I do work with the Red Pen answering questions and acknowledging, and working on, any problems with the manuscript. Our aim is to give the readers the best reading experience we can. I want to put you in the book with the characters. When we finish, I’ll check the word count, but I suspect this is one of the largest books, if not the largest.

Hello all, Aaron the WebGuy here, with something a little bit different for you. The Red Pen and I got together and decided to transport certain characters from the Haunted Series into the Sims 4 video game. This was just was for fun and was not meant to reveal any future plots.
If you're not familiar with Sims or Sims 4, it is a game where you get to make and control "people" of your own design. You can build and furnish houses, and live vicariously through your characters. We chose to put the PEEPs characters in and experience them in this simulated world.
Read MoreWhat a doll!
What is it with dolls? In Ghostly Attachments, I used a doll to aid PEEPs in dealing with the horrors of the nursery. The doll that gave me inspiration in the book is my husband’s doll, Hansel, bought for him when he was a baby in France. Hansel is really loveable, but maybe it’s because he obviously likes me best and we’ve become quite attached. The Red Pen, like Jesse Holden in CID, hates clown dolls.

It’s the time of the year, traditionally, where we all start thinking about what’s new on television and why haven’t I, Alexie Aaron, put my series on yet. I would love to see the Haunted Series on TV or a movie or both. I have researched this and brought in experts in this area to counsel me on how to best go about it. The first thing I need is to get new readers, a lot of them. So, I waved my wand… No, I have hired a group to send press releases to just about everybody, which discusses the Haunted Series and its first book, The Hauntings of Cold Creek Hollow.
